2027, the Year of the Goat
In the Chinese zodiac, 2027 is the Year of the Fire Goat. It begins on 6 February 2027, with the Lunar New Year.
The Goat is the sign of calm, kindness and creativity: it would rather build with its hands than fight for space. Fire adds energy and courage, a goat that doesn't stand still.
In Japan, where I lived from 2004 to 2018, the same sign is the sheep, hitsuji. There, the year traditionally starts with cards and calendars of the year's animal.
